With the combined efforts of our members, volunteers, and donors, we were able to construct this medical facility in Amokwe. The Amokwe Healthcare Clinic is a medical facility first opened in 2011. Since its establishment, we have been forwarding various medical programs in the said facility. With the different chapters of APNO-USA, we are trying to expand our medical center in Amokwe so that it may serve the people of Nigeria better.
Presently, we are in the process of building a doctor’s quarter in the area so that medical professionals may have a space to rest within Amokwe Medical Center. This way, they can spend longer hours in the medical center to help those who are in need of treatment.
As of 2019, the construction is up to the lintel or foundational levels. The project is still in need of funds or other resources so that we may continue building. If you are interested in contributing to this project, your donations are welcome. See our donations page for more information.
